Hi,
Please see my two picks for Saturday:
Real Estate – 8.05 Lingfield – 6F Handicap – 18/1 Bet365 – 1 Point Each Way.
Real Estate loves all-weather tracks with a hugely impressive 5 wins and 5 places from just 25 runs off marks from 65 to 73.
He started this season off a mark of 76 and hasn’t been in the best of form in his 6 starts. However 5 of these were on turf and the only start on the all weather was over an inadequate 5 furlongs where he only lost by 3 lengths.
Today he returns to his favourite Lingfield track off an attractive looking mark of 63 and must have a good chance in this 9 runner field where there doesn’t appear to be any progressive last time out winners.
At 18/1 with Bet365 he looks fantastic value and I recommend 1 point each way.
He still looks value at 12/1.
Jack Hackett – 7.45 Kilbeggan – 2m 4F Handicap Chase – 10/1 Skybet 1 point each way.
Jack Hackett likes Killbeggan running here 6 times, winning one novice chase and placing in two other races.
He was last seen in the Midlands National at Killbeggan where he was nicely backed and travelled well into the race, but he weakened in the last quarter mile. That was over a 3m 1F trip and today he reverts to 2m 4F which is much more his optimum trip.
He takes a drop in class here running off top weight a mark of 127, and with his track postmarks registering a high of 136 he looks well enough handicapped to run a big race.
At 10/1 he isn’t a massive price, but we can get 10/1 with Skybet who offer 5 places and he will cope with the forecast rain better than most in the field.
I recommend 1 point each way.
He is still each way value at 8/1.
