Please see my one tip for Sunday:
Internationaldream – 2.40 York – 6F Handicap – 25/1 Bet365 – 1 point each way.
Richard Fahey does well at York meetings and last year won this race.
This year Internationaldream represents Fahey and he was looking really promising last year winning a maiden and conditions race over 6F on fast ground. He also placed twice in Listed races, including at York.
This year hasn’t gone so well and Internationaldream has been coltish and run too free at times leading to him being gelded.
He was subsequently stepped up to 7F which hasn’t really suited, He ran best on his first run after being gelded, but then flopped on unsuitable soft ground before disappointing when turned out quickly last time out.
I like he has been freshened up and given a month’s break which will cement his recovery after being gelded.
The faster ground and 6F trip is ideal and the flat York track will suit. He looks dangerously well handicapped off a mark of 85 having postmarked a high of 96 (with multiple performances in the 90’s).
At 25/1 with Bet365 I recommend 1 point each way.
