Hi,
Please see my one tip for Thursday:
Rania – 2.35 Chepstow – 6F Handicap – 20/1 Skybet – 4 Places – 1 Point Each Way.
The 3 year old Rania won a maiden race at Chepstow as a 2 year old over 5F, postmarking 73 and hasn’t been back to the track since.
I find this quite surprising as horses that win at Chepstow have a huge advantage over there rivals as many horses just don’t act over the big undulations.
Rania has proven himself subsequently on good and fast ground sprints over 6F, winning at Salisbury postmarking a high of 79.
As a 3 year old he hasn’t shown any progression but ran well including placing off a mark of 67.
With the horse looking exposed at sprint trips they have tried him recently over 7F (twice) and the latest over a mile, but he has blatantly not stayed.
I like him today as he has been dropped back to a much more suitable 6F off a mark of just 57 and will love the ground and might just relish being back over Chepstow’s undulations.
At 20/1 with Skybet who offer 4 places we are getting massive value and I therefore recommend 1 point each way.
He still looks value at 12/1.
