Busy Street – 1.00 Catterick – 2m 3.5F Handicap Hurdle – 33/1 Paddy Power, Betfair Sportsbook, BetVictor – 4 Places – 1 Point Each Way.
Busy Street has been pretty classy winning 4 on the flat over middle/staying trips, reaching a high of 95.
He went hurdling in 2020, running in three maiden hurdles over an inadequate 2 miles. On his hurdling handicap debut, he was stepped up to a more suitable 2m 4F but burst a blood vessel and trailed in last.
Busy Street was given time to recover, and switched stables, before returning on the flat for three fair runs. These demonstrated he is over his issues and saw out his races, so he looks interesting now over 2m 4F in a hurdles race.
He looks nicely handicapped and with his problems behind him on ground that suits he looks overpriced at 33/1.
I, therefore, recommend 1 point each way.
He is still value at 16/1.
