The 9 year old Angelsea Lace is a winner of a 3 mile point to point on good ground and was sent under rules this year by the very good yard of Tim Reed.
They have an excellent 16% strike rate with their chasers, and I really like that Angelsea Lace went hurdling for two runs over an inadequate 2m 4F to gain her handicap mark.
Now that a handicap mark of just 77 has been allocated it’s interesting they immediately send her chasing and step her up to 3 miles on good ground that really suits her.
She has two last time out winners in Counteract and Catlin to contend with, but she looks really well handicapped off 77 and can make her presence felt in this grade.
At 100/1 with Paddy Power, who pay 5 places, she looks a great each way play, and I recommend 1 point each way.
