Hanbury Racing – 19 September 2021

Hi,

Please see my tips below for Sunday’s racing:

Hellenista – 4.50 Hamilton – 1m 4F Handicap – 7/2 Bet365 – 2 Point Win.

Not my normal long priced horse, but we won on Hellenista last time out and she gave the distinct impression there is a lot more to come from this unexposed filly.

I was surprised the handicapper only put her up 4lb for that win and she goes again over 1m 4F which really suits and will be able to cope with Hamilton’s undulations after winning at Ripon’s similar topography.

The good ground is also same as last time and after a sensible 27 day gap between races, it all looks set for a similar run.

Haveyoumissedme is the danger, but her win last time out was on all weather and previous flat best form was on soft ground, That’s enough to put me off and make Hellenista look a good bet.

In a 7 runner race she sits at 7/2 which surprises me as I though she would be a 6/4 shot in the context of this field.

I therefore recommend a 2 point win with Bet365.

Bullsempire – 4.10 Plumpton – 2m 4F Handicap Hurdle – 66/1 Bet365 – 1 Point Each Way.

I have put up Bullsempire a couple of times now and last time over 3 miles and he was disappointing.

He returns to 2m 4F which is very much a trip he has run well over and with connections tweaking the headgear to blinkers and eye shields I hope this moody horse reacts better to this set up.

He is very well handicapped to take advantage of just a minor return to form and at 66/1 with Bet365 I’m recommending 1 point each way.

He is still value at 33/1.

Gone Galavanting – 2.30 Listowel – 2m 4F Handicap Hurdle – 66/1 Skybet – 1 Point Each Way.

The 8 year old is still a maiden and has changed stable 3 times now.

He gone close to breaking his duck, including when second over 2m 4F, round left handed Bellewstown, which is a similar track to Listowel. That was off 95 and good ground.

Gone Galavanting has an interesting trait insofar that he comes on a bundle for his first run of the season and invariably runs one of his best races of the year. That’s no surprise because he is a pretty big unit and needs a run.

Well, he recently had his first outing where he was placed in last and just had a cosy outing. Today is very much the day for him and I like that connection shave also reapplied his tongue tie.

This coincides with his handicap mark dropping to 82 and considering he has run to 108 in the past he is well enough handicapped to get involved here.

At 66/1 with Skybet, who offer 5 places, we are definitely getting involved.

He is still value at 25/1.
