Sutton Manor – 3.10 Carlisle – 3m 2F Handicap Chase – 16/1 Bet365 – 1 Point Each Way,
I have put up Sutton Manor before as he is an incredibly well handicapped chaser running off 109 here.
He raced on three separate occasions in Ireland within 10 lengths of Grade 1 chasers and whilst he has disappointed on occasions when racing in the UK he has been getting over a lengthy absence and a tendon injury, so we have to excuse him.
Sutton Manor is a big strapping haser and needed his recent reappearance run and a return to chasing is exactly what he needs
He is going to romp home soon and I’m hoping it’s today!
At 16/1 with Bet365 we can get involved each way.
He is still value at 9/1.
Play The Game – 4.15 Naas – 1m 2F Handicap – 66/1 Bet365 – 4 places – 1 Point Each Way
Has been a high performing dual purpose horse for connections postmarking a high on the flat as a 4 year old postmarking a high of 104.
He has spent most of his time over jumps for the past three years and shown hid class winning 4 races postmarking a high of 140.
Play the Game is trained by the very good John C McConnell and has plenty of winners on the flat and with Play the Game having a nice run out on the flat 8 days ago that will have sharpened him up for today.
He runs off a career low flat mark of 77 and is no forlorn hope here at 66/1 with Bet365.
He is still value at 25/1.
