Please see below my one tip for Tuesday:
Assembled – 8.00 Kempton – 1 Mile Handicap – 20/1 Skybet – 4 Places – 1 Point Each Way.
The 5 year old Assembled was originally trained by Hugo Palmer and he did pretty well, winning a Windsor maiden over 1 mile and postmarking many times in the mid 70’s.
Unfortunately, he suffered an injury and was off for a year and a half, with connections also selling him on.
Now with Martin Bosley Assembly has been nursed back to health running four times. His first was over a mile which would have been badly needed, but he actually ran fairly well off a mark of 71 only losing by 4 lengths (postmarking 68).
Assembly was stepped up to a mile and a half and didn’t run quite as well, but for me this wasn’t a complete surprised as he his previous form suggested he was best at a mile. These lesser runs may also have been due to a breathing problem as he under went a wind operation before his last run.
I’m pleased today connections have stepped back to a mile, especially now his rating has dropped 10lb to 61. With a postmark high of 78 he looks very well handicapped.
At odds of 20/1 I like Assembled’s chances today and I’m recommending 1 point each way.
He still looks value at 14/1.
